ONCE UPON A TIME…

Olivos del Sur S.A. was founded in 2004 with the plantation of 2.500 hectares in San José de Marchigüe, Colchagua Valley, the ideal place in the O’Higgins Region. The valley is world-famous for the high quality of its wines and vineyards, whose soils are very well adapted for the cultivation of olive trees.

The company began its commercial operations in 2007 and since 2009, it is the main and largest producer and exporter of Extra-Virgin Olive Oil in Chile, with its own production of 3.5 million liters.
Currently, Olisur exports 85% of its production to markets such as the USA, Brazil, Canada, China, Japan, Peru, Colombia, and Uruguay, among others.

OLIVOS DEL SUR IS BORN

2004

Olivos del Sur is born, with the plantation of 1500 hectares in the San José de Marchigüe area.

OIL MILL

2007

The construction of the Olisur Oil Mill, designed by the Chilean architect Guillermo Hevia, begins. His design was a Gold Medal winner at the 2009 Miami Biennial, due to its beauty and contribution to the environment.

Olisur INC

2008

OLISUR INC begins its operations in Charlotte, NC, USA. Currently, It has its office in Connecticut and 3 warehouses strategically distributed throughout the territory.

FLOS OLEI

2010 TO DATE

Olisur begins to gain recognition from international taste experts. Santiago, in 2010 and 2016 is highlighted as the best light fruity blend in the world, by the Italian guide FLOS OLEI.

OLISUR BRAZIL

2013

It begins its operations in its offices in Rio de Janeiro. Currently O-Live is among the best-selling brands in all of Brazil.

CARBON NEUTRAL

2014

Olisur becomes the first Carbon Neutral certified olive grower in the world. It currently offsets its CO2 emissions in various environmental projects, such as windmills in China and India.

PORTUGAL DEVELOPMENT

2017

Agricultural project that aims to reduce climatic risks and obtain the best olive oil throughout the year.

AI AND DIGITALIZATION

2019

At Olisur, the digitization of processes, from the care of the fields (through Precision Agriculture techniques) to the automation of data implies a deep commitment to our consumers.

TODAY

2021

It is the largest producer and exporter of bottled Extra Virgin Olive Oil in Chile, since 2010.
